Urban Decay Eyeshadow; A Comprehensive List of Current & Discontinued Shades (2013)

In 2012, Urban Decay completely revamped and reformulated their already extremely popular eyeshadow line in attempts to develop something with better adhesion to reduce fallout, a finer and silkier texture, and to be as crease resistant as possible. Not only did Urban Decay succeed in doing so, they also completely changed their packaging. Once clear plastic boxes, are now colorful and more green-friendly cardboard boxes.

Urban Decay even went a step further to make customizing your eyeshadow collection even easier by modeling their shadows to pop out of each single coin style, into collective eyeshadow pans. All but one build-a-palette, up to current date, comes with a limited edition shade only available in those select palettes.

With their reformulation, UD added new single shades that were previously only available in their old palette collections (approx. half of the new collection), in the process, they also phased out some of their other shades. However, the new line is available in five fantastic finishes: Satin, Shimmer, Sparkle, Duotone and Matte!

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel; Retaining youthfulness

Most beauty “problems” can be somewhat prevented and moisturizing your skin has proven to be important in successfully doing so. Finding a moisturizer that works well for your skin without negative effects can take a lot of trial and error. However if you’re aware of your skin type you’ll be that much more ahead. Many prestigious companies with a skin care line have questionnaires to help determine your skin type as well. Keep in mind when you approach new products that you need to know if you’re allergic to or have reactions with any specific ingredients or medicines. Being knowledgeable about your skin can save you a lot of grief and discomfort in the end.

Makeup Brushes; Blend some more.

I’ve tried multiple techniques for applying makeup; from using my fingers, sponges, and brushes- both cheap and of high quality. Before I started using brushes, I always thought they were just another ploy for companies to make money off of you and weren’t a necessity. I would always ignore the cute little girls at the makeup counters telling me how their beauty regimens have been completely turned around when they started using brushes. As cliche as it may sound, once you use a quality brush and have had practice with it, you wonder how you ever managed to apply makeup without it! CLINIQUE Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum; Shrink those pesky pores!

CLINIQUE Pore Refining Serum

CLINIQUE Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum works wonders for reducing breakouts by making skin more taut over time.

Our pores enlarge in size as we age, especially after our early twenties. Skin’s external appearance is dictated by many factors that usually begin from the inside. Dehydration, hormone production, excess oils, genetics, and your diet play very important roles in the way your skin reacts. External irritants such as the sun and weather are also strong contributors to what could limit healthy skin renewal. Maintaining a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water is the easiest direction for prevention, aside from regular cleansing.
