I recommend this for people who combat redness on a fairly regular basis. I have more golden and olive tones in my skin so generally I’m able to get away with not having to use something like this because my skin is rarely red unless its really dry or irritated.
With that said, one of my close friends has very fair skin with A LOT of pink and red tones- this works perfectly for her. She doesn’t like wearing full makeup, or makeup at all really, and has tried many different brands of BB creams in an attempt to find a remedy. Until I showed her this formula, she hadn’t been able to cover up the redness, especially on her cheeks and chin. What I love about this product is when it’s blended in, it does an amazing job of giving your skin a slight glow. I initially thought the pink brightener would make redness appear subtly but it really does make you look more alert and awake by lightening under eye dark circles and various sun spots.
One thing I’ve noticed is if you use too much of Stila’s One Step Correct, it can make you look slightly ashy because of larger amounts of lavender and green. But like anything else, if used moderately it’ll give you the results yours looking for! It’s definitely something worth looking into and is moderately priced.
