I’ve tried multiple techniques for applying makeup; from using my fingers, sponges, and brushes- both cheap and of high quality. Before I started using brushes, I always thought they were just another ploy for companies to make money off of you and weren’t a necessity. I would always ignore the cute little girls at the makeup counters telling me how their beauty regimens have been completely turned around when they started using brushes. As cliche as it may sound, once you use a quality brush and have had practice with it, you wonder how you ever managed to apply makeup without it! I can’t even remember HOW I applied makeup before my love of brushes.
